InMobi Creative Playbook

Of my 12 years at InMobi, I think my most impactful contribution was the creation of the InMobi Creative Playbook and it’s accompanying sales enablement materials. This body of work has empowered the InMobi sales team and helped clients to understand the almost endless scope of creative possibilities in mobile advertising. Our sales directors made stronger pitches because of their increased holistic knowledge and expanded creative vocabulary. Our clients were inspired to utilize more innovative and novel ad experiences. Our global designers and developers became more efficient and productive as they utilized these common documents and templates.

The InMobi Creative Playbook is a comprehensive deck showcasing all major ad experiences available to InMobi clients. Internally, this document established a common lexicon for our global creative, sales, and marketing teams. It also served as a vital sales enablement tool, helping our sales directors and their clients navigate the complexities of mobile rich media. Each page features a summary of the ad experience, brief technical specs, and a video example of the ad unit in action. (Note that the slides below do not contain the original video content.)

I designed the cover to be bold and colorful, to create a feeling of magical excitment about the nearly infinite spectrum of creative options available to advertisers via mobile rich media.
